Following the election of Paul Bristow as MP for Peterborough and in line with Article 15 of the PRCA Public Affairs and Lobbying Code of Conduct, which states that:
“PRCA members conducting Public Affairs and Lobbying services must not:
• Employ any MP, MEP, sitting Peer or any member of the Scottish Parliament or the National Assembly of Wales or the Northern Ireland Assembly or the Greater London Authority;”
PB Consulting (PBC) and the PRCA have agreed that PBC will temporarily suspended its membership of the PRCA. This will be only for the brief period whilst PBC takes the necessary steps to come back into line with the Code on this issue.
Paul has stepped down from his role as Chairman of PBC and moving forward will have no direct or indirect role at PBC.
PBC is fully committed to the PRCA Code of Conduct and the principles contained within it. PBC will remain compliant with the Code and all our staff will become individual members of the PRCA.
